Studio Rental

Studio 1831, located in the heart of the Art Museum neighborhood of Philadelphia, is an intimate performance and presentation space, available for rent for special events such as classes, lectures, workshops, performances, small concerts, and rehearsals.

Room features:

• 16' 9" wide x 35" deep including seating and performance area
• Performance area: 15'x16'. (Ceiling is 10' high; ceiling fans are at 8' high.)
• Photo at right shows the view toward performance area, without curtains. Scroll down page for additional pictures.
• Seating: 50 folding chairs and also bench and floor seating to accommodate 20 people
• Basic lighting, stereo equipment
• Dressing room: 7'x6'
• One restroom

From the Schuylkill Expressway (276): Take the Vine Street Expressway exit (676) and then the 1st exit -- 22nd/23rd Street -- in Philadelphia. See "From 22nd Street Directions" below.

From I-95: Take the Vine Street Expressway (676) to the 22nd Street/Art Museum exit. See "From 22nd Street" directions below.

From 22nd Street: Head north on 22nd Street from the Ben Franklin Parkway and make a right at the second light, which is Spring Garden Street. Make a left onto 18th Street (heading north). Turn left at the first street, Brandywine. Find parking on the block or in the surrounding neighborhood.
